A primary skill used by magicians is the ability to misdirect the attention of a person or group of persons in order to trick and deceive them, thereby creating an illusion. Magicians use clever words and actions to deceive us.  Some use convincing props and entertainment and assistants to aid them in deceiving us so they can successfully trick us into believing a lie.  We know the magician cannot actually saw a woman in half and put her back together or make an elephant disappear.  But the magician is very skilled and knowledgeable and unless we study books on magic, he will continue to be able to deceive us.

The ministers which have been deceived by Satan use similar skills of misdirection to keep our focus off of what really matters spiritually so we never come to the full knowledge of the truth concerning certain vitally important spiritual matters.  Satan's ministers, just like a magician, also use clever words, props, entertainment and assistants to help him to misdirect peoples thoughts and manipulate emotions so that they believe a lie.

Without exaggeration, it is my belief, 99% of “Christians” have been taught a False Gospel by 99% or more of the worlds deceived pastors and teachers.  They come as angels of light, declaring a False Gospel, a False Jesus and they use their props, cleaver words, emotion and entertainment and employ devoted assistants to aid them in keeping our focus off of the True Gospel and True Jesus.  They make good look evil and evil look good.  Many of them are sincere and therefor very convincing.  But, as the Bible states, Satan has deceived the whole world!

2 Peter 2:1-3  "But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber."

2 Cor 11:13-15  "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

The odds are that 99% or more of persons reading this article have been deceived by their pastors and teachers and are not actually saved because they have believed a False Gospel and received a False Jesus.  If we want to know the truth about magic, we should read and study a book on magic.  If we want to know the truth about the True Gospel and the True Jesus, we should read and study the Bible and quit being deceived by Satan’s messengers!  Counterfeit Christianity is rampant!  We must come out of the deception of this world by the renewing of our minds and do so by the washing of the Word of God.  Faith comes by hearing, studying and meditating on God’s Word.  The truth will make you free.  Jesus is the Truth!  Focus on knowing the True Jesus and you will know the True Gospel by which you are saved.  

1 Cor. 15:1-4  "Moreover, brethern, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

Most churches are a dangerous place to be and serve mostly to mislead and distract you from properly understanding key truths by failing to present the truth at all or by mixing the truth with a lie.  You must not accept as true what any “Pastor” or “Bible Teacher” tells you until you have thoroughly studied the matter for yourself.  

II Tim 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

You must first be truly saved by believing the True Gospel and receiving the spirit of the True Jesus!
